Who’s Max Koch?

Max Koch (pronounced “Cook”) is an actor/writer/cartoonist who lives in Los Angeles with his wife and chug, Barney Fife.  Since 2017, he has been the voice of iconic Cheetos mascot, Chester Cheetah.  He was also Master Mantis (and countless other characters) on Nickelodeon’s animated hit series, “Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness”. Max is notorious for his viral videos on YouTube (“Max Koch channels TONY SOPRANO” among others) as well as his hosting of several well-known podcasts (including 99 archived episodes of “Max Koch’s Mimosa”).  He currently co-hosts “Guys Day In” with his cousin, Lorenzo.  In 2007, Max portrayed crazy, cigar-chomping pitchman Hoyt Monroe in a massive, multi-media campaign for Pala Casino Spa & Resort.  He has been a three-time feature on The Opie and Anthony Show, appeared in a Conan O’Brien monologue as Jack Nicholson, and in 2015 was interviewed on Larry Morgan’s Snarkmonkey podcast.  

Other credits include Nickelodeon’s first animated Christmas movie, Albert, and the Netflix/DreamWorks animated series, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants.  Check out his commercial playlist HERE.

In 2020, Max and his buddy Brett Pearsons uploaded a 14-episode horror series they made to Vimeo entitled Red Leaf Complex.  In October of 2022, they released their new horror short, Untitled Treatment.
